b5media announces several new sites this week.
First up is That Damn PC:
While I’m generally a fan of Microsoft, I’m well aware that there’s a reason terms like “blue screen of death” and “reboot” are part of the mainstream vocabulary. There are a lot of things that can go wrong with a PC these days.
Do you have a damn PC? I think we all do from time to time. You know the one: it sits on your desk faithfully providing you with hours of productivity and fun until one day, for no reason, it starts to do weird things. It’s at that moment that it turns into “That Damn PC”. Before you take a hammer to it, check out That Damn PC, our newest b5 technology blog.
That Damn PC is written by Dean Boswell who looks after “over 200 PC’s, 75 plus printers, about 150 plus phones (analog and digital) and a bunch of other junk at a small paper company.” Now. Put down that hammer and check it out!
I love the name.. and I get to laugh and giggle because I’m a mac user…
The second blog launch announced today is a bit more serious.. it’s One Step at a Time:
As someone with a slightly OCD / slightly addiction prone personality (the two are apparently tied together in my case), I really appreciate our newest blog.
A Dozen Steps is a self-empowerment blog for people who deal with any variety of addictions, or who can benefit from any of the countless 12-step programs out there. It covers news, reviews products and offers daily encouragement. It isn’t an easy journey to achieve daily freedom, but Anne Wayman will be with you day by day to support, teach and encourage.
Finally, it’s A Feed is Born:
Hot on the heels of IBM Eye comes A Feed is Born. Written by Vincent van Twillert from Holland, A Feed is Born focusses on everything you ever wanted to know about RSS technology. Vincent has his inaugural articles up and man there’s some interesting stuff in there about how RSS is being used today and where it’s likely going in the future. I’m getting hooked myself. Be sure to check it out here!
